Can I participate in DAIRE as a graduate student?
At this time, DAIRE is an organization specifically for undergraduate students. However, we encourage graduate students to consult with local chapters directly, as there may be opportunities to participate in open events, guest speaker sessions, and other initiatives that align with your interests. We are always looking to foster connections and encourage involvement from individuals passionate about advancing diversity in real estate.

Is there a membership fee to join DAIRE?
No, there is no membership fee to join DAIRE. We are committed to breaking down barriers to accessing real estate resources, and as part of that mission, we do not require our members to pay any fees.​​​

Can I join DAIRE if I’m not majoring in real estate?
Yes! Real estate career opportunities are incredibly versatile, and we strongly encourage students from various disciplines to join DAIRE. In fact, having diverse perspectives is essential to shaping well-rounded real estate development. Current members come from a range of backgrounds, including traditional real estate, finance, design, and social sciences.

Is DAIRE focused on a specific area of real estate (e.g., commercial, residential, investment)?
While DAIRE's professional development is consistent across chapters, the focus areas are shaped by member interest. We encourage our members to explore a wide range of real estate sectors—commercial, residential, investment, affordable housing, and beyond. How can I stay connected with DAIRE after graduation?
Once a DAIRE member, always a DAIRE member! Alumni are encouraged to stay engaged with the organization through our social media channels and are invited to join DAIRE's LinkedIn group to keep in contact with current members and other alumni. This is a great way to stay updated on upcoming events, career opportunities, and to continue being part of the DAIRE community.
